when the world went mad." 29 pages. The book contains poems with brief
descriptions of why he wrote them. "Sitting in a slit trench watching
the mighty armada of planes flowing overhead I wondered what those grim
faced young men, up their in the night sky, must have been thinking.. I
see a city laying 'neath my wings, All brightly plumaged crimson in the
night..." He ends his book "Thank you for bearing with me to the bitter
end. I enjoyed writing this book, it got something out of my system thats
been clogging up my heart and brain ever since I saw the body of the first
man I killed."

for Germany after the war.
